"My hands were chapped and dry during winter in Hamburg. I couldn’t find a long-lasting moisturiser anywhere.
So I took a batch of the nuts from my homeland Brazil and prepared a rich milk – filling a blender with water, peeled Brazil nuts, some local oats, and honey. I strained the fluid mixture through a sieve, and the result was a super creamy milk. Only a little bit was enough to give my hands the long-lasting silkiness they so craved."
After harvesting, the women from different communities in North Brazil peel the crunchy Brazil nuts piece by piece. Afterwards, the nuts are grated, and after slowly adding water, a white cake results that is kneaded in a special way.
The creamy Brazil nut milk, which is one of the region’s essential foodstuffs, is pressed out of this. Their regular contact with this milk gives the women smooth and supple hands.
As a chemist with many years of experience in the extraction of natural products and a lover of fine cosmetics, Luisa Wiesche developed the exclusive formula for a natural and nourishing hand cream based on traditional Brazil nut milk and a true elixir with Brazil nut oil as its main ingredient. She designed herself the recipes, where each raw material has its "raison d'etre". There are no purchased third party's frame formulations, but harmonious compositions handcrafted with passion and soul.
